55 Dead or Alive?

This chap was taken out of a magazine and rustified in an unabashed attempt to pander to the unquenchable thirst for mid fifties Chevrolets. Blast from the past, bink to blow up.

This reminds me sooo much of my dad's old car. Nice memories & nice painting.

Thanks Joan, I remember riding in one of these in high school.

I like the green, and how the rust colors mix in with it.

Thanks N.N., we must get enough greens.

Love the rust and green. Fall colors...my favorite. Nice little house in the back...wonder who lives there?

This is a real study in complimentaries. The variety of greens is impressive.

Thanks Madison, this house was up in the interior of B.C. I took a shot of it in 1977. Last year I bought a book on historic buildings of British Columbia and there it was, but I think it is gone now.

Thanks Dorothy for the compliment on the compliments.

Green color for car is beautifully rendered. Blending of the forms is subtle and supports the main elements - car and barn.

Thanks W.K., greens are a fun zone to work.
