I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Walker Home. Great name. I like the way you handled the colors under the crunched headlight on the blown-up view.
Thanks, Michelle, its just 1/2 of a crapped out painting, but I did think that was an interesting bit under the crunched light.
No Leonid?.. thought he'd be here by now. Go check out his site.. he is a bee keeper.. (hobby?) which is good seeing how bee populations have been reported to dwindle around the world. What will the birds do without those bees? Ron, you got that ol' 1-2-3 going. Car-house-trees.. 0k grass that's 4! Great job on those contrasts to make the car glow. I think they should make a Ron postage stamp - benefactor and preserver of aged autos. May the legend continue!
Thanks, W.K., he has stated his case-he has chosen you and of course it is a good choice. I realize my silly cars are not the stuff of important painting and since I make them up they are also a little suspect.
He does sound a little nuts though which could be a lot of fun. I'll have bit of fun with him ocassionally. I delinked him.
I am thinking of getting Milford his own blog. If I can get the old nuisance to write a couple of his crappy poems and maybe scribble a coupla sketches, maybe it will keep him occupied. He sleeps in the closet under the stairs and I found him yesterday with a sock hanging out of his mouth snoozin away. If he wasn't a relative (of my wife's) I'd have him put down. I know... I can't do that to the old sea dog.
Ron, I like the one piece windsheild. Beautiful color combo and like the cabin.
Holy cripes!, its daytime Kee, good to hear from you while its light out. I still say we gotta go paint a garbage dump. Would we be extreme blighters then? If we painted rotten citrus fruit would we be Limey Blighters?
miLford... milfoordd! come forth!
Painting a garbage dump will be a fun one. I'm sure we can make a lots of beautiful paintings although I will be half asleep blind bloody blimey limey blighter. Is this sound right?
That is very good, you're a natural.
