I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

I once planted some blue hoo's in the garden. They never grew. Now I know what they would have looked like in full bloom.
I came upon the Blue Hoo by accident, but its growing on me. I'll be covered in Blue Hoos.
You're on to something here!
I'm on something? How'd you know? No, sorry you said I was on to something-misread that, got a little nervous. Its just fun.
You know, I love your cars so much that I disn't want to like your potatos but they're gettin to me.
I put them up just for fun. I did them for the kitchen. They are about as far removed from the cars as anything I could do. They have interesting textures, colours, shapes, but to me they are not "art". However they are fun to look at. It might be fun to do them on masonite or something else smooth, we'll see.
I say continue with the potato. You have mastered the car. Now a short side step to the organic art form is very much in order. I like this one better than the red. oozy sticky stuff sticking up is good.
