Hopefully you mean latest post or perhaps there is a post behind the truck and it is the last post on the block... I have always liked the tow truck series Ron.. and this one really stands out (amongst the grass.. and foliage). I imagine with your recent influx of cash you will be at the art store getting materials to last the rest of the year....

i like how you mix the colors together on this one. Especially above the front wheel :)

and it can't be the last post for a while! nooo

Thanks W.K., unfortunately there is no influx of cash only the unrelenting demands of house and mouth. Also I have come to realize that after good sales then no sales I have to re-evaluate. I thought I could create a supplementary income with my car paintings that were different from regular car art, sort of my own style. I'm off the D.P. for a while. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. I'll keep the blog going.

Thanks N.N., I'm not going to be on the daily painters for a while, the blog will continue.

I really like how you layer in the colors in your paintings. This one is nice.

You're not going to stop posting to this blog though, right?

Ron - Love this tow truck. Looks like it had one tow to many. I feel like that some days too.

The dark back ground and the pale for ground create drama for this rusty oldie. The colors are great!

Thanks Cara, sometimes my wife calls me a toad.

Thanks Madison, the cars/trucks are just an excuse to try different things.

Excellent colors in this! I love the tow truck but he's going to have a hard time without his engine!!

Ron Morrison said...

Thanks Joan, he's lost his "motor"vation to work.

I had to bail on the DP scene several months ago, too. Since then I have started another artist blog - it has 12 members now.

I'll still check out your blog(s) and send photos of old stuff whenever I find something you can use. bj
