I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Ha, nice wording--it WAS on the dry side...
Nice work on the car.
And like the treatment of the roofs
of the house.

Thanks J.J., I think that there is a gene that some people have that demands a certain attention be paid to our past....'sides its fun to paint!
Thanks Grimsikov, sometimes nonsense produces inadvertent wit!
Thanks K.W.H., I thought it was a fun style and enjoyed doing it.
WOW Ron! I really love this. Normally I'm attracted to your strong use of color but this appeals to me "big time".
Thanks Cara,, I've done a few like this for a change...I'm not sure about colour anymore, so many people don't like colour in paintings...
Well, I binked for full effect,,,and man, I see LOTS of color. Maybe a tad more subtle,,but lots of color, still.
And I'd swear that's O.J. in the driver's seat, though I wouldn't swear it in a court of law,,,,,
