I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

love the title! this is a big departure from your usual subjects, Ron. i like it! the globes(?)have a very glassy, iridescent quality to them...kinda like Christmas ornaments.
You surprised me with this one Ron. I like it, reminded me I promised you a photo.
Ron -
I hate to break it to you but someone has posted a painting on your blog! It doesn't have any autos!!!
Ha ha - this is very nice.
Boy, was this a surprise!!! I love this! Great color and lovely shapes. Good composition on this!!
I'm not surprised to see something other than conveyances. The watercolour treatment is as fresh and lovely as the cars. The North American car industry is really up shits creek now that Ron Morrison has pulled his stock in them...
hmmmmm this looks a bit familiar....might I have seen it somewhere before? Anyhoo...I like it just as much this time as the last...You are a master of more than just autos!
Thanks, Billie, just foolin' around...
Thanks, Dorothy, okay...
Thanks for the heads up, Cara, I'll find the scoundrel...
Thanks, Joan, doodlin, doodlin....
Thanks, Clive, yes I've taken stock of the situation....
Thanks, Pamela, I put it here so the Daily Painters site would pick it up....
Ron:
I can echo all that has been said. Very nice, soft colors and a real departure from your cars. I like the reflective softness. It looks like a photo taken with a special filter. Marvelous!
