I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

I thought you drove off in one of your cars...you've been MIA for a while. Great job on this!!! Wonderful color and drama!
I very like the way you created the atmospher surrounds these cars
Your design is excellent!!!
and as usual your palette is very excellent too!!!
Absolutely love it!
Love the colors on this one Ron. The blues especially. And the car you chose to paint is a real classic. Wonderful composition.

Where you been? And what is that car doing up there? You should put up a sign that says, "Welcome to SHell--abandon all oil, ye who enter..."
