I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Sheer Perfection!!!, teacher Ron,
Great colours and crisp&clean in this painting too!!!
Hi Ron, I passed a junk yard yesterday and thought of you. The neat thing was that all of the cars had snow on them. It was awesome but I was on a busy highway so I could not take any photos. I need to get a photo of an old truck. My students want to paint that.
Is that pencil or pen and ink showing on the cars?
Another beauty. Take it easel,
k
Thanks, Nureeya, the smooth paper allows for the crispness...
Thanks, Kathy, it is from the tracing paper...I do my drawing on cardboard and always transfer it so that I am not drawing on the watercolor paper.
Ron you never cease to amaze me...never. This is wonderful -
The smooth paper seems to be doing well for you! I love this!!!!
Thanks, Cara, just playing, someday must get serious, paint a pear or daffodil, maybe a kitty cat...
Thanks, Pamela, I am an old smoothie...
