I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

You are incredible, Ron! Glad to meet you.
Hi Ron, I think this is one of my favorites. I love the "new" cars in this one and the one on the top of the building is a "classic". Love the colors, too. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Arti, glad to meet you too...
Thanks, Kathy, I am trying different styles...
I like this one, but not as much as the previous one. The colors are all too much alike and there's not much differentiation between the cars and the building. Are these supposed to be new cars? Either way, I like your junk yards.
Hi Ron,
I love the colours in this painting. Also the light and colours are very good to evoke to the old time… just love it!!!
Love those soft top cars!!! Super as always!!! Your work always brings a smile to my face.
Thanks, Sandy, no they are old...I know what you mean about the colours but some people like the high contrast limited palette, in real life this painting does separate between the foreground and middle ground better than what the camera saw...
Thanks, Nureeya, yes it does have some of that antique sepia tone to it...
Thanks, Joan, thats good...
Screw the trends! Would you rather be like all those cars down on the ground, or would you rather check out what's on the roof? Trendy or not, damned good work.
Thanks, B.D., you gotta point...
