Painting While on Drugs
Okay, fine, not hallucinogenics or however you spell that, but painkillers for kidnoid stones. I woke up in the middle of the night with cultured stones in inconvenient locations and my computer also crashed at the same time. They gave me some totally useless pills at the hospital after giving me a useful shot in the...I painted this while on the good stuff.
I doodled up the ridiculous house, another logger production with Gothic Victorian influences and bushwacker finishing touches.
I was actually exploring the concept of shadows changing the shapes of objects and how this affects composition...before it all went down the drain...

Ouch! My sympathies Ron, hope you're feeling better soon :) And I really like this painting, especially the house. Very awesome!
Your paintings incite us to imagine stories. That pleases me a lot.
Pretty creepy looking place. Good job. Hope you're feeling better now.
You should paint under the influence more often, Ron! Spooky...in a good way, tho.
:) Yes. My friend is now on the same good drugs because of the shattered ankle... unfortunately he doesn't paint.
Fantastic, Ron...such nice combination of old house and old cars in this scene........
However, this would be very painful, what you told, teacher Ron...Please be careful for taking painkillers; you should take them together with your meal because maybe they would wound your stomach either...I hope you are feeling better and the stones will be gone soon...I will pray for you,
Take care,
Nui
You increase the excitement of these spooky places. Brilliant. Get well soon.
Great job my friend,
jan :)
Thanks, Crystal, it was a distraction from the pain...

Thanks, Nureeya, I will be careful...
Thanks, Asit, I appreciate the visit...
Thanks, Jan, I painted it quickly after imaginating the house...
I've been back east for a week so just looked at your post today. Kidney Stones! Ouch! As some of the others have commented, be careful with pain killers!
Love this spooky old place! But, you know, you don't need drugs to do your wonderful stuff!
Thanks, Karen, I only took a few pills...
I hope you are feeling better now and as many of your readers already said, the painkillers didn't destroyed your creativity if any they increased it :)
Thanks, Lidija, painkillers, the secret to painting....?
This one is painted in a wedge style ....you continue to explore the paramaters of your craft. Nicely painted Ron
Thanks, Win, just fooling around...
