I have driven past this scene thousands of times on my way into town. This is a sketch/idea for a painting.

I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

But... this great idea in black and white will improve when it is done in color?
Regards
Thanks, Carlos, not sure, maybe...hopefully.
It DOES look like a very good composition, Ron.
Thanks, Kathryn...
Your wok is always interesting... black & white or color is immaterial!
Thanks, AK, happy New Year...
Lovely Composition & excellent Execution.
Wow! I love it as is, but am curious now to see the painting :) xx
Thanks, Amit, trying to get the compo ironed out..
Thanks, Pat, I have to process the compo...I very rarely paint anything that actually exists...
This is VERY cool!
Thanks, Cara...
