I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Sometimes we all get into a slump Ron..but I hope you get back to your paintings. This piece is absolutely fantastic...!!
I don't know what happened, Ron but I do miss seeing your artwork.I wish you would start again and paint a hell lot of them!
Hi Hildi and Arti...
+
I don't know what's going on with your personal life, but I know I got into an art slump twice...
I used to draw every single day, but when I was put on antidepressants my life got much better. I no longer needed drawing as an escape from reality, so I stopped actually trying to create art and would just doodle from time to time. It's been that way for 5 years now, and I don't see my urge to draw ever coming back.
The second time was when my life got worse. Sometime last year my boyfriend went to China for 4 months, and I just couldn't do anything artsy. (since retiring from drawing, I've taken up working with polymer clay) I didn't make anything for months because I was too busy trying to fill the void I felt with being more social. He came back, and now I'm back to making silly things from clay.
I'd say evaluate where your life is at and what has changed... maybe you're happier, maybe you're more stressed, but either way it really affects creativity.
Hi Maddie,
Its not really a slump, just like doing other things better and I have lots of paintings. I will paint again...
I've missed seeing your artwork!!! Glad to see something new from you after so long.
Thanks, Joan...
Lovely to see another of your paintings! Has it really been a year or more?
Glad to read you're okay, will be watching for whenever you feel like painting another. xx
Thanks, Pat ...
I love your paintings of old cars!
Beautiful work!
Thanks, Mary and Kendall...
all i can say is for you to lose interest with all the talent you have i was shocked.
all i can say is something horrific must have happened.
i hope you will overcome whatever it was, find your peace and start painting again.

The global Pressure Washer Market size is expected to grow from USD 2.5 billion in 2021 to USD 3.0 billion by 2026, at a CAGR of 4.2%. The growth of the market is attributed to increasing construction activities worldwide, rising number of car washing stations, and growing demand for pressure washers for commercial applications. However, factors such as availability of alternative cleaning methods and high risk associated with the use of pressure washers are restraining the market growth. On the flip side, rising adoption of pressure washers for residential applications and development of AI based pressure washers are expected to create opportunities for the adoption of pressure washers in the coming years.
