I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Hey, remember me?
So, no interest in painting anymore. I read something on WetCanvas from about a year ago - and you sounded so freakin' forlorn! lol Thought I'd drop in and see what the heck is going on!
I live in Comox now. Escaped the frozen north, and enjoying this ever so much more.
We should get together sometime. You can take me for a ride on your groovy cool bike.
Take care
Tracy
Or . . . you know . . . not. ;)
I'm glad you painted. I've always loved your work and I felt sad when I read that post about your having 'no interest' in painting anymore.
For an artist that's not good.

I have missed your paintings SO much Ron...and after seeing this incredible painting I hope you're back...you have a talent like no other....!
Ron, I have been missing seeing your wonderful cars on WetCanvas! Hopefully you are doing okay and only in a slow spot right now...love your cars!
Sincerely,
Kay Smith (KreativeK)
