There are quite a few old fishboats floating in fields where I live.

I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. Boats now? New direction for '07?
No, I've always painted boats- I thought this one was kind of comical because it actually looked like it was floating in a field. For my next trick I'll paint a car driving on a lake. My new direction, on advice from my good buddy Clive, is dog photography. (see comments under dog picture)
