I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Stretching your skills here... always a good way to move forward and grow. I worked on the great lakes once on an ore boat. I made the mistake of working on the deck one trip out. Too cold and brutal. Much better to be working around the warm food... even if you have to wash dishes. Good work!
I want to do a very loose fun, interpretation of this thing-its a work in transition. I want to do something Uncle Milty (Milton Zorne) would approve of.
I did like the bright orange on the first version.
Just for you it may reappear- I want the drawing a lot different. This is an exercise in composition.
