I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Great one Ron! like the center symetrical composition with the open door balancing off to the left (or is that the door's right?). Nice counter balance going on. Also the reds add a lot of visual interest to the whole. Values run the range and I really like that. Excellent!
Thanks W.K., I'm off to my show today.
Good luck! If this were an actor, she would be Julia Roberts hands down!
Thanks, Michele.
I agree with w.k. That shift & counter shift really works. We used to have an old panel truck like this (I loved it). My husband had taken the front fenders off a large truck & lowered the front. It was awesome, but we had to sell it to catch up on some bills. The last I saw it was in LaPort CO.
This was a panel. Thanks for all the comments-great fun. Sounds like Rog and Ron have a lot in common-any motorcycles in the program?

Rog rode dirt bikes & welded cracked HD casings up for years...eventually got too old to ride. Now he is building a car for Bonneville Salt Flats out of a Chevette, of all things! I don't know why some comments came out anonymous? J
