I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Great composition... how long to make the drawing generally on these?
They evolve and morph, sometimes over months. Sometimes the idea comes relatively easily and doesn't change much. Other times I paint the same drawing over and over without a really successful result . Case in point-Over the Hill Gang. I figure the next one will work and then the next one...I'll post the process oneday.
