Rust In Peace 2

I punched this version up from the first more delicate faux-patina edition. These are from the library-but since I'm still sorting everything out with my new digital camera I figured I'd put them up anyway. Posted by Picasa

Great '58. My husband & I owned a junkyard for years & I never tire of seeing old cars with a potential for resurrection. In fact, I wrote my thesis on something to that effect. Your watercolors are so fresh!

Owned a junkyard!? Just the thought gets me unglued with pure envy. I think sometimes that it is pretty silly painting these things and I should get onto other subjects, but I love painting them. I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't have pursued painting without having a favourite subject to keep me interested. I especially enjoy putting together the ensemble pieces. Thanks for the visit.
