I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

I like the colors too. Blue and the yellow work well together. Would like to see the complete piece... patience.. patience. Hey I'm posting to a site in Spain. Now I can communicate badly in 2 languages... hee
I, myself am illiterate in most foreign languages including english.
Looks like a piece of jewelry and I like the way it's almost teeter totter--like you expect it to tip one way or the other any minute..sort of like the house that was tilting downhill. nice
Thank you, Michele-I always enjoy your interpretation of my paintings. I think you get the idea that they are supposed to be more than just car portraits.
Michele is right, Without that front wheel and tire this 58 Chevy will tip forward any minute now.
Like the colors too.
Thanks, Kee.
I like this one, '58 is one of my favorite cars. Nice watercolor work....
What, you don't like the rest?
