This is very nice, Ron, an earlier piece perhaps, maybe a study?

Yes a "character study". Didn't you read the blab under the painting?

I thought a character study was something you did in Lit 100.

Well, it seems appropriate, You're such a pick.

I liked your comment on Moore's blog so I came by for a visit. A small question, what does Ron mean when he calls you a 'pick' or am I a prick to ask?

Other than that, nice work, clever comments. I'm adding you to the group of bookmarks that I click on weekly.

Tom, thanks for stopping by, a pick is a person who picks at you as in nags or criticizes.

Hey, W.K. slow day but now its okay. Was depressed, regressed, so I expressed. Probably not sad or going backwards so much as bored. I'd say the top shelf is empty.

Oh, I see. That's a new noun for me. I imagined a person with a pick shaped head or a tiny person used to strum a guitar. Interestingly enough, I've been told I resemble both from time to time.

Back to painting, I've got a Monday deadline.

I like this truck but I worry that he won't get any work done in his condition. He looks like a tow-er of dreams with that flaming on fire grass he's sitting in. I can identify with this guy because he looks like I feel when I wake up in the a.m. But he's still kinda cute too. He's got the happy-go-lucky dance of the skeleton cars.

Congrats on your three grand.
Too bad there's no prize for these landmarks. Dedicated people doing dedicated things.

The grass is a little lime green isn't it? But I thought it would be interesting to show how the characters are assembled for the bigger paintings. I debated about whether I should post it or not. But I figured its only neon grass-its not the end of my non-existent career.

Thanks, Kee, I posted it to show how the characters find their way into the bigger pictures.
