I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Seems like it's very hazy day. Beautiful colors. I love the way tree line is just skims along the mountain.
Thanks, Kee. I think Paolo would be tickled if you visited him.
Ron,
I wish I had time to comment on every post but I can't seem to keep up!
You are so prolific and dedicated. I enjoy ALL your posts.
I love the antiquated feel of this painting as well as the depiction of isolation and desertion.
Thanks, Jennifer, I appreciate you stopping by.
You could call this "best buddies". These new works have a real dreamyness about them.I like the tilting and the angles of both cars. The grillwork is full of personality. They are definitely having a conversation...wonder what they are talking about?
Yes, Michele, it would be inter"rusting" to know, wouldn't it? Thanks!
Ron I especially like this one. These 2 are like friends in rust. I get a centered mellow vibe.. watching these 2 lovebirds having their picnic and sharing a secluded moment.. in the grass (the chocolate chip cookies talking).....now
Thanks, W.K.,I hope they rust in peace.
Really wonderful watercolors..
Just a great understanding what happens with light..
Thanks for the visit, Gerald.
