I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Ok back in... Hey you must have gotten fired up after your "style" dissertation on emptyeasel (check it out people!). This one recent? I sure like it as the car body is a subdued neutral supported by the colorful bright green grass in the foreground and dark background. You definitely created a convincing 3 dimensional space. excelente!
This piece is absolutely gorgeous. I like the softer look of this Ford truck and what a wonderful colors you've got cooking here!
Great work Ron!
Thanks, W.K., Dan didn't like what I wrote so he didn't publish it-he's got a P.R. advertising thing going on there. I don't mind-I surprised myself by sitting down and writing it and I thought it was pretty good.
Thanks, Kee.
