I really like the shacks and weathered houses you've been adding. They bring a lot of character to the work. These are landscapes with cars. Based on these gems Ron.. I bet you'd be a PA natural.

Why thank you, thats what I thought, Robin.

Thanks W.K., did you read my answer to your question about paper?

Just terrific, the shacks look like tapdancers dancing to a jitterbug and the cars are about to jump about & roll around. The one on the rt. with the open hood could be popping his hood & trunk up and down to the rhythm of the beat. I would love to see this painting become an animation.

Ron I just scooted back a few posts and read your paper comment. Sorry I didn't get back for that .. comes with being selfish and self-centered I guess. Anyway I enjoyed your paper story and the little history. I have used Arches about the 30 years too... and love it. I'm using lanaquarelle and that is excellent. I bought a bunch of winsor newton watercolor paper and it's crap.. had to put it in the basement... f--K (pardon the hyphens)!! You can't lift once the colors dry. It's like painting a fresco. So forget doing nice smooth washes... Just say NO to WN paper. Saunders Waterford is most excellent too - Arches... good... WN bad. Anyway good posts all around!

Thank you Kee, could we call it an "add- junk" or an adjunct to the main interest area?
