Analagous complemnatary. My compliments to the artist. Split complementary is my imaginary friend. All kidding aside.. you have a quality work here and you lay down the color with authority.

Nice reds, nice placements of sunspots.
Are the wheels gone?

Thanks, W.K. for the compliments on the compliments.

Thanks, Grimm, when I find these things the wheels are almost always gone. So I decided early on in the program that they would be mostly wheeless in my paintings.

Raspberry all day sucker delight! Love the sunlight spots too.

I really like the back window on this one...the missing window and the piece falling apart. Nice colors too!

Yeah, a lot of the wrecks I've seen are laying on their bellies, too.
It gives them a bit of a disabled vet look.

Ron - back after a long weekend so I'm late in sending in my comment (by the way, there is now no whiskey left in southern Missouri).

My original comment was that it looked like candy but then I read Naquaiya's comment and now I feel like a copy cat.

Still, its delicious!

I think they become something else when the wheels are gone, Grim.

Thanks, Cara.

Nice touch with the bent chrome glistening in the sun. Droopy headliner shows you pay attention to interior details. Yet another nice one.

Thank, B.J., did you notice this fellow is a character in the bigger picture?

Well now that you've called it to my attention - yes, there it is! Thought it looked familiar. Of course, I see LOTS of cars and after awhile they all run together.

Get it? Then you have a pile - up, a pile up. :o) (just a very small, little funny)

B.J., I went to school with a guy named Hugh Moore, he was small so we called him a little Hugh Moore. I'm making this up but do you think there is a Hugh Moore somewhere?

There's gotta be a Hugh Moore somewhere in the world. Did you try Google? little hugh moore :o)

I did, there's lots of them and some of them are apparently humourists.
