Ron this one really knocks me out. I love the smooth texture of the metal on the fenders, and door. Also the rendering of the grass. This is a departure and is a good case for variety. Nice addition to the car family!

Wow!! Love this one Ron...my father had a '38 Pontiac when I was a kid.

Hi Ron, SL and I finally saw your tremendous show today at the PEG. Great to see a large body of your work in a good venue with good lighting. I mean, I've seen it before, but not like that for awhile, not since the show at the gallery up here in Cumberland. The jpgs just don't do the colour and pigment combinations and interactions justice. And some of them are huge pieces. Very instructive for other watercolourists. I hope you sell more of them. Congratulations and all the best with it. (I've had to repost this, Ron, as I tried to edit it, as I have before when I noticed an error on posting, by copying the post, deleting it completely and then reposting it, but the last did't get removed and then I realized that it has left your response hanging in mid-air. Yeah, post some images of the big pictures! )

Hey Ron--This is the best you have ever done in my opinion. It is very mystical, mysterious, etherial and completely inspirational. Wow--you outdid yourself. ps I love the palette too and the grass looks just like clouds, like the image is rising out of clouds. whew! Is this in your show? If it is, it should be showcased.

Thanks, Michele!

Ron I'll side with Michele on this.. this too is one of my favorites. Quite a sophisticated handling of the medium my friend! Also I somehow deleted your last comment fussing around..

This is an extremely strong image, carrying with it a bit more presence than the grouped works. I like the feel of a definitive light source and the (threatening) visage of the hulk. Rog had a '38 when he was young, put a Cad V-8 in it.

That Rog, we're brothers with different mothers!
