I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Let the posts begin! If you want to see some happy colors .. watch some Tom and Jerry cartoons from the 40's.. Check out the background paintings they did!! Those f--kers could paint .. pardon the hyphens.. Woody Woodpecker, Andy Panda... the list goes on......... untill it became too expensive .. bastards (producers). OH.. btw your painting kicks ass Ron! Good un'
I loved those cartoon backgrounds from day 1.
Another great painting, Ron. It's so moody! And the colors are great on this one, too.
Thanks, Michelle!
Signed up for another stretch on DP. See what happens for a month.
This is a super painting. I love the colors in this, they are mixed, and the subjects are mixed too. House, boat, car, sky, earth, all in one painting. just great. oh, don't forget the memories.
W.K.,I think I'll sign up in the morning.
Thanks, Michele-whimsy,resonance, and nostalgia are my main objectives, but they are also fun?
