I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

This reminds me of inside an aquarium. Looking for the sea chest with the diver. Strong color triad going and the car is excellent. This could be an illustration for some cool magazine (compliment). This one sets out from the rest great job.
Thanks, W.K.
I imagine this piece will garner some good viewing from the community. But it is important to keep the DP colors in perspective. Also the DP site is in free fall for the moment so take everything with a grain of salt. This is good work... I don't know what colors you've been getting - I'm getting some reds myself. Annoying to my fragile eggshell ego even though, but the bottom line is: "paint no matter what!"
I know its a bunch of baloney, but I keep trying to make a sandwich.
This looks so soft and tantalizing, like a piece of ripe, luscious fruit. To comment, don't look at stats or the stupid stuff that is going on. Just do what's in your heart. This is a sensual painting.
Yes, Michele, you're right.
