Hey watercolor live here too! Looks like you have a new fan... I'm jealous! You going for another month? I'm going to give it a whirl....

Junkyard no.2 has some irrelevant comments you might find tedious er interesting. I'm leaning towards another month but I will not decide for a day or two. I can't help myself from being disappointed at the lack of response to my painting.

Ron, I'll hang in another month too. Just to see how things go. so sad. On this painting, the colors are too happy for me. I like the more moody & mysterious ones, more monochromatic. But that's just me.

You have some artist friends out that way? Good to hang out with at least one (my opinion) to help keep the spirits up. If you are making a living on your work then you are a one of the lucky ones. Hope the coming weeks are good ones for you - DP or no DP. Regards!

Easy now, I haven't gone anywhere yet. Sorry Michele, but colour is the thing for me.

W.K., I need to develop more reliable marketing tools. I think a site designed more specifically for sales might help, ie: if you want a painting of a 55 chev...I have never made a living entirely through painting, but things were on the upswing until they weren't.

I wrote a response to your mention of the WPA in the Junkyard no.2 comments.

Unlike Michele I like the happy colors. Also like the looseness of the foreground objects and a little less grass. It's feels good Ron.

Bob Ross said, "lets put a happy little bird right here". Bob's dead-I loved Bob, he was so happy, happy, happy. Bob loved happy colours. I miss Bob. But he's still on T.V. He had pet squirrels and always brought his dog when he did a demo. He was a first class loon and a fine pot boiler.

I learned, a week ago Monday, that you can't please everybody all..

Its okay, Michele you don't have to like everything - But did you notice how my friend stepped in to save me. Dorothy and I love colour-we are not apologizing.

W.K., I don't have to go far, just to the fence and there two artist bloggers Dorothy and Larry Manser always provide therapy when I foray out into the world and get into trouble.

Hmm. I didn't think one comment on color should be taken as life or death. It wasn't meant to be a criticism, just a preference of mine. I just like your other color palettes, that's all. All your work is great, I just prefer some to others, that's all, I'm not trying to say something complicated here, there are no hidden meanings.

Sometimes I think the fun is lost in the translation- I guarantee we are not that sensitive - we were just teasing. Dorothy and I have been through the art wars-I don't mind if you have a preference, I'm flattered that you pay any attention at all.

Ron, see what happens when you have too many big brothers, I thought you were serious. Boy, did they ever used to bop me around, and I fell for it each and every time. Just like linus and lucy's football trick! Whew, I was beginning to wonder. Got the clue when Dorothy cleared it up on her comment on my blog.
