I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

I adore this! Been out of touch with a downed computer. Trying to crank back up to speed. You have so much wonderful work at this point, it is truly impressive. And I love seeing all the changes, growth, transitions. Hopefully we are all evolving as artists. I don't think you should ever evaluate your own work--give it at least 5 years before doing that. Sometimes old stuff is so inspiring and gifted. See?? Like this.
Hi, Michele, glad you're back.
All these old ones are great!
Thanks,Louis, I kept them over the years as part of my core collection.
Yeah .. I can see this is part of a the most recent post. A lot of time went into the creative process and delivery - that's obvious. A special one this..
I used to sweat every brush stroke-now painting is more fun.
