Wow! I really dig the mosaic-like patterns going on.
Although this painting has a slightly chaotic feel, it still maintains a sense of harmony and balance.....
like ying and yang.
I love the deep, rich darks and the brilliant lights.

Say Ron this is a cool painting! Got some nice abstract space goin on. Nice grays.

I don't know how D.P's going to pan out. I get good response but no sales.

All of the above... got into the architecture I see. Nice structure and well blended into the boat's surroundings. A nice changeup. DP for me is just recreation.... and expensive!

I concur with Jennifer's comments.
I really like the abstract quality of this painting.

Thanks, Jennifer, I never know when I post these things whether they stink or not. I always figure everybody's gonna know I can't really paint at all.

Robin, my thinking on the subject of sales is that the D.P.s could be a pipeline to a proper sales oriented site with prices for different formats-commissions, prints, etc. It is found by the search engines and people will find us. I don't think you could spend a better thirty-five dollars a month on advertising.

W.K., I went behind the scenes with my tracking devices and you would be surprised, I think, by how many people search you out specifically on the D.P.s. The D.P.s do get a lot of garbage visits when people google in "dolls with big eyes" kinda crap. I think a lot of times they find me by default. They google in 57 chev art and they want an air brushed poster.

It is fun to put up stuff- as I said to Jennifer though I worry a little bit that with all the good artists paying attention I will be revealed as a complete idiot.

Kee, on my best day, I'm not worthy of washing your brushes-but it makes me happy when you (and everybody else) stop by. I really do hope you can enjoy my stuff a little. The fun of it is we all paint so differently.

It hasn't bothered me so far....

Hey old idiot! What are you babbling about, your a great painter. I like this one too. I like the mosaic quality and it's reminiscent of the ladders you recently used. All these white lines must point to an otherwise quiet focal point. I would love to see this redone with your new maturity.

Ron Morrison said...

Thanks, Michele....must paint ladders.

Hey Ron... Happy birthday tomorrow! Anyway cash from the day's art sales tell the story. If I go by that then I'm wasting my time. But I like the game so far and I'm having 29 bucks worth of fun. Do me a favor.. please help Michele figure out how to get her prize .. I thought it was clear...
