I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Got the colors dancing! Nice placement of the house to anchor the car pile up. This is the twin sister of yesterday's post. Nice pair!
Just spent some time catching up Ron. Can't believe how much work you get out.
This is another great composition. And the color! Man its pure.
I signed up for a month on DP, see how it goes.
Thanks W.K. This is where I live. The composition, the colours... But it is too goofy for some and not loose enough for others.
Robin, thanks for the picture and email. Impressive sales totals!
Beautiful. Don't know how you do that with such ease, these paintings are very lyrical, musical, happy songs. Now that I know your secret, you make these up in your head, please go to the head of the class!!!!
Yes, the fun for me is to make these things up-it would be a lot easier to just copy a photograph. The big junkyard is entirely made up -if they were stacked like that they would be crushed on the bottom. Its my mythical jaunkyard. Sort of a totem?
