I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

A flying car? I like the idea... btw I'm also a sucker for yellow in a background. Always an eye-catcher... if not to muddy. Solid composition and a good value map. Yeah!
I kinda liked the abstraction.
Hi Ron, love your work...I've added a link on my blog.
Thanks, Louis- I'll add you to mine .
This car has great big loose shapes--the bigger the better. Love the impact. If she were a film I'd go for a flying mary poppins. I'm doing links now too.
Your on my blog.
Thanks Michele.
I like the way you allow the edges to bleed slightly into the paper. Nice use of broad brush strokes. The colors are opulent and warm.
Beautifully simple. Simply beautiful!
Thanks, Jennifer. What fun to have such a nice comment!
