Rolls Canardly-Nineteen Thirty Eleven

This is a Rolls Canardly, rare model sighted only once in my imagination. The Rolls Canardly rolls down one hill and canardly make it up the next.This should be a magnet for the search engines. I named a painting Oliver Stacks and guess what? Some loon is named Oliver Stacks. Imagine the surprise when you're looking for the person and you get the painting...Another 1 second visit.

Six Car Pile Up

This painting is a version of the Pile Up Series. It lost a car from a previous version. I post it to show how a single car/truck can end up in a larger painting-an ensemble piece. The tow truck below became the central figure in the above tableau.

3000 Hits-A Milestone

Chevy Tow Truck

I found this fella out in Abottsford about twenty-five years ago. He can be found in one of the larger paintings-Seven Car Pile Up This is what I call a "character study".

The Gathering

I painted this in 1980 and I'm putting it up again so that it becomes part of my "gallery" on the Daily Painters. I think that the gallery is a fine thing. I kept this painting over the years as a "core piece". It took me ten days to paint with a 000 brush. Click to blow up.

The Boatyard (Reduced Version)

I had fun with this composition, it is the simplified version of a larger painting. I live by the beach on Vancouver Island and this is what I imagined it looked like maybe in the early sixties. Mind you, there are still places like this, today on the island. The boat in front, which has appeared before on my blog, is an old water taxi called the "Steel Maid".
