This is a car that I "faux" rusted to create the patina. In other words I used a picture of a fully restored car to get the lines and then aged it.

I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust.
