I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Wow, this could be one cell from a terrific animated film. Used to go to a mandarin restaurant where they served "happy family". Sort of a mix of everything that wasn't nailed down in the kitchen. It was always great, a potpourri of sorts.. That's what this is like.
Thanks for the always inventive and enjoyable comments, Michele.
Shame on me .. how'd I miss this.. your just too fast Mr! But now I have to get to the other 2.
Its another version of Coombs Cadillacs that I had lying around. I like to look at them on my blog so I put them up.
One can really feel the rusts on these cars. Nice bird is a nice touch.
Thanks, Kee
