Fun With Rusty Wrecks And Derelict Houses

I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Hey, this is nice. Looks like it had just rained and the storm clouds are starting to part. Everything is still wet. The birds are chirping, the bees are buzzing.
Oh, and I like the old truck by the building. Nicely done.
Great painting Ron. Bike - no peddlers... I love it!
But now you have me curious, what's on the back side?
Thanks, Michelle.
Thanks, Cara, I have no idea-honest. Its framed.
Ron take a bow - WoW... 100 a centenarian! You have been a good friend on this journey..started back in early Nov. for me. You had the idea of the no to ohs campaign - and it has blossomed. I don't want to wax sappy ... but a milestone has been crossed. Now what!... ? haa - we'll see .. we'll see. BTW nice 100 post painting! Has all the elements painters are supposed to be aware of covered. Shall we go down the list... nah.. Congratulations!
Thanks W.K., we've had fun haven't we!? I've got ol Milford's blog up, but I can't comment as Milford yet.
Somewhere along the line I became Ron Morrison- by accident.
Of course you became Ron Morrison by accident. We fall short with intentions.
But what's intriguing is that becoming Ron Morrison was only accidental to you.
Yikes, were's my magic decoder ring. My mom said it wasn't a accident, that she planned me.
Congratulations on the 100 mark my friend! One 100 is a favorite of mine, just changed my identity picture & my quote of the day is "I'm 100 and bored" from the movie La Lectrice. Magic decoder ring in gear, this painting rocks!(can't believe the coincidence as my next quote will be from Woody Allen's Radio Days about his magic decoder ring. Another blog? I'd better search around to find it.) too much coincidence. Yup I agree, if nobody wants to buy, let's do our coffee clutch. At least we are alive and well and talking.
Remember, Michele, I have E.S.P.(Entirely Stupid Puns).
HI there...just wanted to say that I've found your blog and I love your style (and subject matter!).
