I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Now you're talking! I like the way you filled the frame with the car. Looks majestic.. imposing.. for a forgotten beauty. Cool how you mix it up with the multi-color compositions and then the restricted palette pieces. A recent work?
Thanks, W.K., its from '99, I think. I'm just putting up whatever I've got from whenever. I have to work and this DP thing kicked the %$#@ out of my big bread and butter painting program. The summer shows are coming up and I'm relatively organized so hopefully things will get back on track.
Hear you .. hear you
Love your site and remember being here before. You give these old relics such life! Beauty!
Thanks, Mary.
