55 Chev at Rest

Quicky 55 to see if I can do these in less than 2 hours and sell them for $100. Bink. Come on people, its not that crappy is it? A sympathy comment or two?

I don't know how long they normally take you to do, but two hours wouldn't get me this far...
I love the strokes on the roof--for how fast you must have had to work, you've made every bit count!
Looks like a kid pulled up, but never picked up his date...

With watercolours, you can achieve(?)
radically different results if you just go about things a little differently. I wanted a raw sienna grass, which is more natural than the colours I usually use. The blues look dirty with the browns (mag oxide) which is the way they look naturally. The poainting to me is boring but maybe its okay for a quick sketch.

You couldn't do ANYTHING BORING!
This has a sense of sadness..maybe because you just did that big pile yesterday.

Thanks W.K., dramatic yet tasteful, says it all. I believe this is the first time those words have been associated with me. At least the tasteful.

this is great. Everything looks old here, even the grass :)

Thanks N.N., apparently I'm old too, which comes not so much as a surprise but a disappointment.
