I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

I like everything about this painting. I especially like the truck that is missing it's engine. eminds me of the Pirates of the Carribean 3 movie. When Jack sparrow loses his brain. anyway...

Another fine collection put together with care.. and may I suggest love-- lover of the antique car. I notice some smoke or some kind of atmoshpheric over yonder by yon shack... something cooking?

I like the pile-up, it looks like the cars are trying to be a house. Speaking of house, I lik the roof of the one in the background, looks atmospheric.
I had missed the post below, but I'll tell you I like the way the first one was done. It has a "portrait" quality.
Pretty funny that there's a tow-truck front and center... as if it did its work one day, gathering all these cars here, and then quit.

This one is very nice. I like how the sun appears to be shining through a break in the clouds. Nice, rich colors.

This is beautiful. Imagine...old cars being so beautiful. I love the light effects from the sky and the reflections. It looks like moonlight to me.
