Landlocked

This specimen of "sailing in the grass" was once and still is a fishboat. Blow it up.

Excellent detail work, I love how the sun hits the whites on the ladder & boat.

Thanks, Grimm, it hard to know about detail and hard edges..

This is really cool. I've never seen a boat set up like this. I really like the propeller :) ...even though the whole thing makes me want to be there to explore it.

It rests in real life on Malcom Island of the north end of Vancouver ISLAND where we live. Not to be confused with the city of Vancouver on the mainland where we used to live.

Nice. Have you posted this piece before? It looks familiar.

Nice upstanding boat piece Ron. You have given thought to the edges so as not to have tangents and other pesky problems. Colors harmonized around the frame in a thoughtful and interesting manner. One more for the boat gallery.

Thanks Madison, I've always painted boats and houses, its just that I want to have an inventory of car paintings to market. I like painting cars although I realize it probably bores everybody to tears. (and makes it hard to come up with new comments) Some people won't comment unless I paint something different, which is interesting.

Thanks W.K., its a hard edged illustrative kind of thing...but I guess it is what it is and it sold for a pile.

Ron - this is great but I'll forever be a fan of your cars!

Cara, if you want to have some fun go and join Wet Canvas. Somebody quite famoos wants me to paint something else. What fun!
