I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Ha, I like the "reserved parking" bit.
They remind of those two old guys from the Muppets that heckled everything (except plus one in this pic).
Thanks Grimm, I liked the colours in this one, it may inspire me to go buy some paint. Those two were the best part of the show.
a regal lineup. i like the composition in line with the building. again with the magenta as a unifying agent. the owner must also be proud to have the work and enjoy it often.
Thanks W.K., I didn't know about that middle of the comp thing, whether it was a problem or not...whats the use of having rules if you can't break them?
I've had my calmer-downer and I can hardly read elusive,,,,eluvi...elucidation let alone figure out what it used to mean. Nice one, have a good weekend.
Thanks Clive, its what happens with an overdose of hallucinogens.
(I found my dream car today!)
I like the house in the background even. The three different types of headlights make it :)
Thanks N.N., details on the found item please.
well i'm still stuck on the z's. A 280 z (not zx) in excellent condition. I put a picture of it on todays post so everyone knows what car to get me ;)
Hey Ron,
It's been awhile, sorry. The stuff I'm seeing has me going wow over and over. You have some pieces that are just perfect. I thought I comment on your most recent post and go back to give you thoughts but they may be redundant. You'll see what I mean, I think.
....this is great...as usual.
Thanks Tom, glad you are back.
Thanks Madison we aim to please.
