I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

I love those things too. It looks kinda like the first car my little brother bought to fix up. Things got hectic and we used it to sell a house :p I think it was around a 41 Plymouth. I was so sad to see it go.
All I can say is...FANTASTIC....again!
Love this.
I was sad to see mine go. Thanks, N.N.
Thanks, Madison.
Nice.
Was it nice and shiny when you owned it? What color? It's sad to see all the classic cars disappearing from the road. They had style and character. You can't say that for most of the cars being produced today.
Very nice arrangment of molecules there Ron.
Thanks Michelle, my car was restored. it was rootbeer with wide whites.
Thanks Cara, its all about the molecules, really, in the end isn't it?
Beautiful colors on the car especially the fenders. I also love the 2 ravens sitting up in the right hand corner. CAW...
Thanks, W.K., I didn't think anybody'd ever notice'em, including me.
Very cool work, especially the rust. Like a cadaver resting in the afternoon sun.
Thanks, Grimm, that does deescribe it.
Would not mind having it myself. I'd sit in there and reminiss?????
Well when you get set up maybe we could do a set piece on the property.
Spot on perfect.
Thanks Tom.
