I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Hi Ron...I noticed you said sorry that I had dropped you from my list of blogs...I didn't...there must be a little mouse going around doing something. No way would I do that, cause I love your work...but I actually think I know what it is. Under my blog highlight for the day is where I think I had you listed but I have it set right now to show only 1 blog, which is the blog of the day. I bet you are the cache over there. I'm going to go check...
I love your work!
sandy
p.s. If you ARE in there..then I'll move you out into the light of day...
Mystery is solved! Yes indeed you were hiding in there..Now it's back to all blogs listed...on my daily blog highlights.
I love this car. My grandpa used to have a model of a car like this but the cab was a whiskey bottle. It played music when you removed the bottle :)
love it (door hanging open :D )
Thanks Sandy, I hate to be left out. Hee.
Thanks N.N., memories..
Ron... how's life after dp? You still doing wc? I'm too lazy to go over there and see. I'm happy to see you are still keeping the life blood flowing at RMWP. cheers! btw thx for continuing to make a few stops out my way!
Wow, that's an oldie.
Takes me back to my days of...okay it doesn't take me anywhere, I wasn't born then. But it is cool.
I especially like the suicide door being torn and almost hanging off the side.
W.K. I thought we were doing this thing together the N'oze Brothers.
Since Mike relegated you to a loftier status I'm expecting leadership from you. Or at least some entertainment.
Grimm you old sod, thanks for stopping by.
Another nice painting, Ron.
Thanks Michelle, I may have to actually paint something this is old.
This one is a real "oldie". Great job on it!!
Thanks Joan, its interesting that when I started painting these I only did stuff from the twenties, thirties and forties. Now its stuff from the fifties and early sixties.
