I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

nice boat. I like the chipping paint.
Grass catches the attention here. I think it's cool the way you tapered the grass tops to a white point. Looks as though the ol' wreck is riding the amber waves of grain.... (sorry part of my gringo brainwashing).
This guy looks high and dry in the grass. Nice background, foreground, and weathered boat.
Hi Ron.
Thanks N.N.,there must be some irony to painting chipping paint?
Thanks W.K. its another "Boat Floating on Grass". Actually there's grass everywhere when the tide goes out.
Thanks Joan, if the boats aren't floating in low tide grass, then they're high and dry in a field.
Hi Clive, not doing the O.O.
Oh how great this is. The distressed wood ads such interest. Look forward to more boats!
I'll ship you one!
