I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Is that Noah I see onboard? So far he only collected gulls. You created a nice space with lots of movement. Dramatic sky and foliage.. looks likes something's about to happen. Reminds me of an illustration for an outdoor magazine - well done....
Thanks W.K., I'm mostly in the idea mode, got to get to some serious painting.
This one has everything, birds, cars, boats, and buildings. The boat is so clean and I like all the birds. (I think I have been attached to birds in paintings ever since I learned that a curvy v could resemble one)
Nice composition! The old girl's stretched out on the grass while a couple of old plantation owners lounge in the background.
I like the boards leading to the boat. Looks like we could walk right in. We can cross the water and go visit some buddies in the background.
Okay, the colors make me want to go paint ...and I really don't know how that much.
gorgeous painting.
Thanks N.N.,Yes I tried to give good value in this one by packing in a variety of things.
Thanks Grimm,...yes I can see them.
Thanks Joan, I wonder who would live in this scene that I painted up.
Thanks Sandy, painting is fun, go ahead!
