I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Your brush drawing is very good, we need more.
You're painting daily for sure Ron; getting back at it myself; will give you a call sometime. This sequence a looks great, you're doin some experimenting and I like the results.
They are all candy for the eye ...
except eat and sleep you should only paint and paint !
I like this, I don't know why but I just like it. It's fun to look at.
This one has some dramatic textures that create added interest. I like the woodgrain on the tree showing through (if I remember correctly). I really dig pulp covers (big fan) and this reminds me of those illustrators who could paint them so well.
Thanks Dorothy, its fun to just paint.
Thanks Clive, just branching out with the trees.
Thanks Gilberte, I have to get serious.
Thanks N.N., thats the whole idea.
Thanks W.K., ditto on the covers and that style of painting, I am caught in the forties and fifties. Love this sort of sketch with the brush style. I am going to work on it even if its only a sideline.

Thanks N.N., I looked, they were very interesting.
Just wanted to say I tagged you, just because you are cool, not because I expect you to do it.
