Fishboat

I am going to make an effort to paint in this style. Bink to expand your awareness of the details or not.

Silly boat...waves of grain do not suggest water...

I love everything about this one...the colors, the boat, the foreground, the background. I'll be gone for a few weeks and it will be fun to visit your blog and see what's new.

it's always wierd to see a boat out of water (and not on a trailer). The grass is holding it up nicely though :)

I love this but then again you know me - I'm a sucker for your highlights.

Grimmer, the boat made a beeeg mistake and that was it.

Thanks Joan, I will try not to disappoint, yikes the pressure is on.

Thanks N.N., I think this probably happens in a lot of places and the boats end up floating on something other than wawa.

New grass approach has taken the next step - forward. Drawing is tight and what hits me most is are the value contrasts.

Thanks Sandy, I can never really figure out what the heck I'm doing, it just came out that way.

Nice background. I like the freedom of movement in this piece.

Thanks Madison, I guess I'll just forget about style on everybody else's terms and just paint. It does get complicated if you can do things more than one way.
