I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

I see you've readjusted some of the car colors. It looks good with the darker background and building. Nice improvements!!!!

Hi Tracy, commissions have to be on the artists terms or its not comfortable. When I'am asked by millionaire car collectors to portray their babies, I wreck'em up and its great fun. But those are few and far between. I kinda like specifics, its like getting directions- I know where I'm going. I am always way more conservative with commissions- I paint to not make mistakes rather than how I really would like to do them.
I like the building in this one. You can see the Shell :)
Is the truck done in this one? the grill. I think there's an image the schools computer isn't letting come thru.
