I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

Wonderful sky, but that barn is to die for!!!! Super texture!
Seeing as how these two fellows have no eyes with which to take in the metal pleasures of the the farm, the car on the right is comfortable lifting its hood and exposing itself to surrounding nature. Naughty car.
Awesome creation.
Always such wonderful
rich color!
Would have liked a good story though,,,,
Deliciously ominous sky. And your buildings always have such wonderful character...they would talk if they could. Still haven't gotten out to get you those pics...but I'm workin' on it...
Thanks Joan, woodworking in watercolour is fun.
Thanks Doug, rude and crude in the old rust home!
Thanks Babs...not sure about the stories.
Thanks Tracy, looking forward to them!
Great combinations of darks and lights in this piece Ron. I get the feeling that the storm has passed over and the sun is breaking out behind me. There will be a rainbow happening pretty quick!
Jeffrey
Thanks Jeffrey, that was the effect I was going for....actually I just stopped painting because I liked the effect.
