I started painting with watercolours in 1976 with a set of pans that I had left over from high school. I've always loved the shapes and colours of old vehicles as they settle in for the long rust. I especially enjoy creating scenes using characters I have collected over the years. These paintings are from my imagination. Check out the sales blog under "Links and Friends".

This is really interesting. You didn't ask for input, but if I were going to adjust the composition, I'd move the building to the left and straighten it up a bit. The composition appears to me to be a bit heavy on the right. I really like the use of the light blue especially on the boat on the far right. I hope to see your wonderful finished painting and how you likely ignored my suggestions :-).

Acktchewalleeee, I like your suggestion,(its what I usually do-put the house over to one side)....I need some more detail in the house, maybe more colour...how do I straighten it up?Is it leaning?
Oh, I see. The top roof is sloping back. I thought it was a flat roof.

Ron, I love your using colours, the shape of boats and the reflections too; Its really good handling watercolours!
Hi Nureeya, are you getting ready to go to the country and relax? Can you take some pictures?
